AI novel writer
Write a novel with AI
Wrotebook writes complete novels. Describe the story in a sentence and it designs the whole book before writing a word (point of view, timeline, the rules of the world, a plan for every chapter), then writes it chapter by chapter while you read along. Between chapters you steer: more of one character, a faster pace, a different turn.

What Wrotebook plans before it writes your novel
Point of view and time
Whose eyes the story is told through and how it moves in time: straight through, two timelines, or pieces that converge.
The rules of the world
Setting, social rules and anything the story must stay consistent about. For speculative fiction, the magic, the technology or the alternate history.
Setups and payoffs
Which mysteries and promises each chapter plants and where they pay off, so the ending answers what the opening asked.
How to write a novel with Wrotebook
- 01
Pitch it in a sentence
"A heist novel where the crew steals four minutes from everyone in the city." Add notes on characters, tone or the ending you want if you have them.
- 02
Check the blueprint
Before any prose: the premise, the cast and their voices, the world, and what every chapter must do. Change anything you don't like.
- 03
Read as it writes
Chapters arrive in order. Read each one as it lands and steer the next: bring a character back, raise the stakes, slow down for a scene that matters.
- 04
Keep it
Download it as an EPUB or Word document. It's private unless you choose to publish it.
Getting a good novel
Lead with the hook, not the summary. A premise with a twist in it gives the plan something to build on.
Name the feeling you want. "Slow-burn and darkly funny" steers the voice more than a list of plot points.
Steer early. A nudge after chapter two shapes everything that follows; a nudge after chapter ten can only patch.
Start with a novella-length read. The default book is one to two hours, 8 to 12 chapters, which is where whole-book consistency is strongest.
Know before you start
Keeping a long story consistent is the hardest part of writing fiction with AI. Wrotebook plans for it and carries what happened forward chapter by chapter, but read with an editor's eye for names, timelines and loose threads.
If you publish, check the platform's AI rules first; Amazon KDP, for example, asks you to declare AI-generated text.
The ones we actually get asked.
Yes. Wrotebook plans the entire novel first (cast, point of view, world rules, a plan for every chapter) and then writes it chapter by chapter, carrying what has happened forward so later chapters build on earlier ones. You read along and steer between chapters.
